
Queen Quet presents “De Gullah/Geechee Ooman an E Right ta Freedum!” on March 12, 2014
Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) returns home to St. Helena Island, SC on March 12, 2014 at the St. Helena Branch Library at 6 pm. This is part of the “Gullah/Geechee Land & Legacy World Tour“ and the “Gullah/Geechee Living Legacy Series.” This series is co-sponsored by the St. Helena Branch Library and the Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition (www.gullahgeechee.net).
In celebration of “Women’s Herstory Month,” Queen Quet will do a histo-musical presentation entitled “De Gullah/Geechee Ooman an E Right ta Freedum” followed by a Q & A and book and CD signing. Admission is FREE!
