Beaufort County, SC completed joined in the celebration of the history and heritage of the Gullah/Geechee Nation!  All four incorporated townships-Beaufort, Port Royal, Bluffton, and Hilton Head Island-and the county council all presented Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) with proclamations to show their support of continuing the heritage and culture of Gullah/Geechees.
