Queen Quet featured on Gist of Freedom Discussion of United Nations TransAtlantic Slavery Memorial

Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation at the Atlantic Ocean

Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) concluded Middle Passage Month in the Gullah/Geechee Nation with a discussion of the United Nations memorial to the victims of the TransAtlantic Slave Trade and the lack of involvement of African Americans in the unveiling and dedication of this permanent memorial.   The dialogue on the air includes hostess Sister Gist, Stella Antley, and Dr. Sidney Davis who are dedicated to insuring that their African ancestors’s stories are never forgotten.   Tune in to the dialogue:

Choices Greetings to You Most Gracious Queen Quet,
Choicest Greetings to You and The Gullah Geechee Nation,I Pray the Creator Grant You All Enough Now and Eternally.

Thank you Your Eminence, I was moved to tears the entire broadcast. please involve me in this effort! I have been following your work for at least the last 14 years. I have been sharing your blog posts on my twitter and Facebook as well. I have been trying to work for IHRAAM since I spoke to them at Atlantic Antic, In Brooklyn-Fall 2001. I am troubled by what I heard on this broadcast. It is not possible to have a Region 6 of the African Union comprised of “Diaspora” without Queen Quet and The Gullah Geechee Nation. Not in the so called United States-none of these African American civil society organizations operate in the capacity of a nation. At best they are Non-Governmental Organization’s.There can be no “South-South” Cooperation without Gullah Geechee Nation. They was’nt even mentioning AU Declaration of May 25, 2012, Frame Work, Programme of Action, Implementation, time frames, etc.., none of that, not on social media-not until we put it on blast. So I know the dog and pony show of which you refer. Perhaps these events present a Diplomatic occasion to petition H.I.M. Queen Sheba Sai Ra III as authorized by African Kingdoms Federation Diaspora Recognition Decree ref: Fed/NOB/HIM/777/10/007 for redress of this slight. However, only as so far as such petition is within Royal Protocol. Still I will share this broadcast with H.I.M. Queen Sheba Sai Ra III, Cabinet in the Diaspora and on social media.

    Respectfully,
    Taft T. Pettiford
