Beaufort County posted a NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING which reads:
“Zoning Board of Appeals Notice is hereby given that the Beaufort County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 5:00 PM in the Burton Wells Complex, Middleton Recreation Drive.”
We look forward to standing with you at the meeting!

Beaufort County will require all in attendance to wear masks and they will provide hand sanitizer.
We are asking you to help with three things before then:
1) Please get more people to sign the petition so that we have at least 30,000 signatures when we walk into the hearing: http://chng.it/gcmmgqFq
2) Use the link that is attached to send in your opposition letter(s) via the template that is located at the link on the SC Coastal Conservation League‘s site. When you use that template, you will be added to the SCCCL database. So, keep that in mind.
3) Make a donation to the Gullah/Geechee Land & Legacy Fund via CashApp to $GullahGeecheeNation or GoFundMe at https://www.gofundme.com/f/gullahgeechee-land-legacy-fund This will help the Gullah/Geechee Nation with funding to continue to fight this and other projects that are destroying the environment in which they live and are causing adverse effects to our cultural continuation and sustainability.
We greatly appreciate you standing up with the citizens of the Gullah/Geechee Nation in opposition to this proposal. Tenki Tenki ya!
Stay safe and healthy! We need to get the victory! Let’s STOP this destructionment of Bay Point, SC!
