De Gullah/Geechee An Reconstruction
Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) will present “De Gullah/Geechee an Reconstruction” as part of the Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition‘s “Gullah/Geechee Living Legacy Series” at the St. Helena Branch Library on historic St. Helena Island, SC in the Gullah/Geechee Nation. Queen Quet will open the Black History Month Celebration at this “Gullah/Geechee Living History” series with a Gullah/Geechee histo-musical presentation.
The event is FREE.
A book, CD, and DVD signing will follow the presentation and the showing of the documentary, “Reconstruction: The 2nd Civil War” which Queen Quet appears in and consulted for.

Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation consulted for “Reconstruction: The Second Civil War” and sang for the score. She is one of the re-enactors in several scenes as depicted here in the Tunis Campbell settlement scene shot on the Georgia coast of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.gullahgeecheenation.com).
