Queen Quet of de @GullahGeechee Joins Earth Optimists in Washington DC

2020 is off to a tremendous start with environmental activists and actors around the world gearing up for major collaborations. Many are planning out activities for the 50th anniversary of Earth Day and how they will not only bring out facts, but inspire others to engage in the movement to heal the earth.

Among the many global leaders engaged in work to heal the land and waterways is The Art-ivist, Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com). Queen Quet will join others for the Earth Optimism Summit in Washington, DC in April.

The Earth Optimism Summit takes place over 3 days filled with 18 sessions telling hundreds of stories to thousands of attendees and a global audience.

WHO: Thousands of diverse Summit delegates, tens of thousands of visitors in D.C. for Earth Day, and hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Smithsonian museums. All sessions will be live-streamed for remote audiences globally.

WHAT: A multi-faceted and inspiring experience, the Summit will feature over 200 experts and visionaries on stage, an interactive demonstration space, film festival, fashion show, hackathon, dawn-to-dusk networking events, and numerous public-facing activities.
