#GullahGeechee Appreciation Final Day at the Destiny Café
Gullah/Geechee Nation Appreciation Week has been filled with a number of exciting and educational events throughout the Gullah/Geechee Nation‘s coast. The event will conclude at Scott’s Grand’s Destiny Café at 5060 Dorchester Road in North Charleston, SC in the Gullah/Geechee Nation that many people have heard about in the news including on Gullah/Geechee TV (GGTV).
The concluding event for the week of celebration will be a dinner and awards ceremony entitled “Honoring 400 Years of History” on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 3 pm. Folks can RSVP on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/487155375386641/. Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) and many others will be honored. There will also be a number of Gullah/Geechee craft items on sale throughout the afternoon. So, it will be a perfect way to conclude the celebration on the continuing historic legacy of the Gullah/Geechee. #WEBEGullahGeechee
