Queen Quet akes the listeners on a historical journey from May 1, 1865 when the first Decoration Day was led by 10,000 Gullah/Geechees who were joined by Union soldiers and northern missionaries in Charleston, SC to honor those that were fallen soldiers of the US Civil War to the current events in the Gullah/Geechee Nation that are living memorials to the legacy of Gullah/Geechees.
