Energizing Energy Justice in the South

Join faith leaders and others throughout the south to act on the disproportionate economical and environmental impacts of energy inequity. Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) will present the opening plenary on day two of this power filled event.

About this Event

This online conference consists of two daily sessions: Oct 22, 10 AM – 2 PM Central, with a 45-minute lunch break; and Oct. 23, 8 AM – 12:15 PM.

We are looking for people who are tired of spending all their money to pay the light and gas bill. We are looking for people who are concerned about their neighbor, who pays up to 12% of their income to utilities. We are looking for people who are tired of seeing their community sick and in distress. We are looking for people who are ready to work together to hold those who were elected to protect them accountable and to raise awareness of those on the local level who have the power to make it stop. Together, we are Energizing the South for Energy Justice.
