Come out to enjoy the folk music of South Carolina as the McKissick Museum host
“FolkFabulous”
on
Saturday, August 22nd from 11am – 5pm
at the Horseshoe at the University of South Carolina (Bull and Pendleton Streets).
It is FREE, open to the public, and a family-friendly event!
One of the featured presenters will be “The Art-ivist,” Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation
Queen Quet will have Gullah/Geechee books, CDs, and DVDs for sale during the event.
