Chatham County, GA in the Coastal Empire of the Gullah/Geechee Nation is the first Georgia county to proclaim Gullah/Geechee Nation Appreciation Week!  The Chatham County Council presented Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) and Dr. Amir Jamal Toure. who was an inaugural member of the Gullah/Geechee Nation Wisdom Circle Council of Elders, with this honor in Savannah, GA.  Tune in to the Gullah/Geechee TV (GGTV) coverage of the ceremony:
