Riceboro RiceFest in the Gullah/Geechee Nation

The annual Riceboro RiceFest in Georgia will celebrate homecoming on Friday, November 9, 2017 with a comedy event featuring music by Jacksonville, Florida’s “Special Formula Band.”   The band will also perform on stage during the main day fo the festival on Saturday, November 10, 2017 from 9 am to 5 pm.  “Brick” which comes out of Savannah, GA will also jam live on Saturday.

In addition to all the dance music, there will be plenty of traditional presentations including the Gullah/Geechee Shouters and Dayclean the African Spirit who are all from the Georgia coast.  For the first time in the history of the event, Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) will also be presenting.  Bring de famlee and jayn we een Riceboro, GA!  E gwine be a time!
