Jasper County Proclaims Gullah/Geechee Nation Appreciation Week!
The Jasper County Council in South Carolina proclaimed their first “Gullah/Geechee Nation Appreciation Week!” Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) was presented with a proclamation for the celebration during their county council meeting in Hardeeville, SC in the Gullah/Geechee Nation.
