Nassau County Proclaims Gullah/Geechee Nation Appreciation Week!

For the first time in ourstory, a Florida county is participating in “Gullah/Geechee Nation Appreciation Week.”  Nassau County, Florida presented Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) with a proclamation for the celebration:

Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) and Representative Glenda Simmons-Jenkins received the Nassau County, Florida Gullah/Geechee Nation Appreciation Week proclamation on behalf of their people.
