The Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition continues its FREE St. Helena Branch Library “Gullah Living History Series” with two Black History Month events on historic St. Helena Island, SC in the Gullah/Geechee Nation linked to the theme “African American History Across America.”  Each event will feature readings for the “Gullah/Geechee Read In.”   Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) will also release her new book, “WEBE Gullah/Geechee: Cultural Capital & Collaboration Anthology.”
