Kwanzaa and Gullah/Geechee Culture

Annually, Gullah/Geechee Riddim Radio host an on-air celebration of Kwanzaa.  Past episodes have been shared by thousands of people around the world and can be found at http://gullahgeecheenation.com/tag/kwanzaa/ along with details of each of the principles that make up the Nguzo Saba.

Some Gullah/Geechees celebrate the harvest celebration of Africa which is “kwanza” as well as the African American non-religious holiday, “Kwanzaa.”  As a continuation of the on-air celebration, Gullah/Geechee Riddim Radio will broadcast each day of Kwanzaa at 7 pm EST.  Tune een fa yeddi bout Kwanzaa and de Gullah/Geechee culture:
