Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) was presented with the first ever “Gullah/Geechee Nation Appreciation Week” Proclamation presented by the Charleston County Council in South Carolina!  The week of celebration beginning July 28th will culminate with the “Gullah/Geechee Nation International Music & Movement Festival™ 2014” (www.gullahgeechee.info) which is being held in Charleston on August 1st and 2nd  Tenk Gawd fa de celebration!.
