Gullah/Geechee Nation Appreciation Week Declared in Beaufort County, SC!!!
Beaufort County Council in South Carolina presented Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation with a proclamation for “Gullah/Geechee Nation Appreciation Week” which will now be celebrated county wide July 27-August 4, 2013 for the first time! The week long celebration will culminate with the “Gullah/Geechee Nation International Music & Movement Festival™.” Tenki tenki ta Beaufort County!
