about the Savannah River Site & Sea Islands Environmental Justice Issues

The Environmental Protection Agency and the United States Department of Energy are sponsoring this community workshop which will assist with community capacity building and provide participants with information on the Superfund Jobs Training Initiative (SJTI) & workforce development as well as grants and community resources. The Savannah River Site and environmental justice concerns affecting the Sea Islands will be a central part of the workshop.
This event is open to the entire public.
Refreshments will be served.
Come out and learn how you can help to protect the environment of the Sea Islands and also find out what resources are available to help yourself and your community!
